ECOM Business Development Manager

Position overview:

The ECOM Business Development Manager is responsible to drive the expansion of the Porsche Design and Lifestyle brand across the North American market while consistently enhancing the digital commerce experience with a focus on customer-centricity. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including Marketing, IT, Finance, Retail, and Operations, and coordination with other Porsche entities in the US, Canada, and Germany. Your strategic skills and critical thinking will be instrumental in propelling our e-commerce platform to new heights.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and steer ECOM initiatives for the US market.
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams to initiate the implementation of business requirements.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve onsite KPIS, margin and overall sales and profitability.
• Research and develop new business opportunities to expand the Porsche Design and Lifestyle brand across the North American market.
• Support the Head of ECOM in strategic projects and continuously strive to improve the digital commerce experience with a customer-centric approach.
• Manage relationships with third-party partners to leverage technologies that drive engagement and sales.
• Work with internal departments and agencies to ensure compliance across all online touchpoints.
• All other duties are assigned.

• Bachelors/Master's degree in Management, Sales, Business Informatics or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in E-Commerce.
• Experience in merchandising luxury product brands through digital channels.
• Experience with third party tools and ECOM plattforms (Commercetools, Shopify or Optimizely are a plus).
• Experience with data and analytics. Ability to interpret metrics and use them to optimize the webiste and shop content.
• Experience in agile project management (SAFe)
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills across all levels in an organization.
• Ability to describe and translate technical situations and solutions to management.
• Creative and strategic mindset with strong executional abilitites and a can-do attitude.
