Position overview

The AfterSales Systems Manager serves as the subject matter expert for key support systems within the Porsche ecosystem.  This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert for second-level support and third-level escalation pertaining to the Porsche Central Service System, World Warranty System, DMS integration, and AfterSales Business Intelligence tool.

 

Roles & responsibilities

  • Identify training needs for Dealers and Field on AfterSales systems
  • Serve as a partner with PAG colleagues to identify, test, and resolve issues on an ad-hoc basis
  • Liaison to PAG, communicate with various PAG counterparts at multiple levels directly regarding system design enhancements and emergencies with operations at PCNA
  • Test and quality control AfterSales  data prior to new model years and new model launches
  • Test critical data feeds before implementation and trouble-shoot afterwards
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues and risks to project outcomes related to planned changes in the AfterSales department
  • Support new initiatives that interface with PCSS, WWS, and DMSi
  • Assists with operational projects and initiatives for the AfterSales organization. Assists with documentation and rolling out of new procedures or systems within the AfterSales organization.
  • Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to develop creative, efficient, strategic and tactical AfterSales reporting needs
  • Creates presentation data for executive management
  • Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to develop action-based reporting metrics
  • All other duties as assigned

QualificationsQualifications

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, MIS, computer science, or other relevant field from a leading institution of higher learning

 

Experience:

  • 5 years of professional experience in project management, or analytical role, perferable for an automotive OEM
  • Proven problem solver in system optimization and developing corrective actions
  • Experience in presentations to large groups and classroom instruction
  • PMP or Agile Certifications

 

Skills:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, German language skills a plus
  • Willingness to travel.  Some international travel required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and positive attitude
  • Adept at working both with team members and on independent projects
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

 

Competencies:

  • Passion for the Porsche brand
  • Self-starter with the ability to structure tasks with minimal supervision
  • Current knowledge of automotive AfterSales systems and processes
  • Must be able to meet deadlines while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to provide legendary customer experiences
  • Knowledge of analytical reporting tools and reporting technologies
  • Experience leading and working within an Agile project team

 

Percentage of required travel: Minimal travel

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
