Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead collaboration with CRM Manager, Porsche Communities Manager, Customer Experience, and Customer Insights teams to align bespoke communications with overall strategies
  • Engage with Marketing Managers to integrate personalized communications across all initiatives, including product launches, sales campaigns, premium programs, and content series
  • Spearhead cross-functional projects enhancing the luxury aspect of customer engagement, loyalty, and overall brand experience
  • Work closely with the Manager, Content Strategy on GTM/annual planning to ensure coordinated effort and optimal resource allocation
  • Collaborate with Porsche AG on global projects, ensuring brand consistency while allowing for regional personalization

Customer-Centric Strategy

  • Develop and implement advanced customer segmentation strategies to enhance targeting and personalization of communications
  • Lead the creation of tailored communication approaches for key customer segments, with a focus on high-value customers
  • Continuously refine segmentation models based on customer behavior, preferences, and engagement data
  • Partner with Community Intelligence and Analytics Manager and Customer Insights team to leverage data-driven insights for ultra-targeted luxury personalization initiatives

Strategic Planning and Content Development

  • Develop comprehensive annual strategy for personalized luxury communications across all touchpoints, including digital channels, bespoke direct mail, and experiential marketing
  • Lead the development and execution of high-touch programs such as the Waiting For Delivery experience
  • Provide strategic direction on creative concepts and lead internal and external teams in developing, producing, and obtaining approvals for personalized 1:1 content
  • Oversee creative development needs for My Porsche and other personalized customer digital touchpoints
  • Support personalized premium content from various business units within greater Marketing team (e.g., Porsche Experience Centers, Experiential)

Resource and Relationship Management

  • Strategically plan and deploy an annual budget of $5-10MM across various personalized communication initiatives
  • Manage and develop one direct report and one contractor, fostering innovation and ensuring excellence in personalized content creation and delivery
  • Oversee day-to-day relationship management with PCNA's creative and media agencies, as well as other specialized partners as needed
  • Schedule strategic planning meetings, develop cross-learning opportunities for team members, and conduct one-on-one meetings for individual growth and development

Analytics and Optimization

  • Implement advanced tracking and measurement systems for all personalized communication efforts – prioritizing key business building metrics such as lead generation, order intake and sales conversion
  • Utilize data-driven insights and technologies to continuously improve targeting, content relevance, and overall communication effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports on campaign performance, customer engagement metrics, and ROI of personalization efforts

QualificationsQualifications

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field; MBA preferred

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in personalized marketing, CRM, or digital communications, preferably in the luxury consumer goods or luxury automotive sector

- Proven track record in developing and executing successful personalized communication strategies and advanced customer segmentation initiatives

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets

- Excellent project management skills with experience in agile methodologies

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization

- Passion for the Porsche brand and deep understanding of luxury automotive customer expectations

- Skilled at training and leading a team of direct reports to bring out their best and assist in their growth and development

Additional Information

- This role reports to the Manager, Content Strategy

- Occasional travel required

- Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be adept at navigating evolving market trends and customer preferences

Decision Making:

  • Position will have relative autonomy in managing timelines and providing executional direction to agency partners. 

Supervision:

  • Limited Supervision:  Periodic review of work.  Latitude and independent judgment in interpreting policies and procedures

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment
