Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure project success and professional development.
- Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and delivering compelling proposals and presentations to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and share insights internally and externally through publications, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique challenges and objectives, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value and exceed expectations.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of consulting projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team and across the organization, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional teamwork.
QualificationsQualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Master’s degree is preferred
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in the management consulting industry
- Strong domain expertise in strategic planning, organizational change management, and business process optimization
- Proven track record of leading and managing consulting projects from inception to successful completion
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex business challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering value
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring junior consultants
- Proven business development or sales history to bring in new projects and clients (preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in various industries, with a focus on automotive, manufacturing, or aerospace sectors being advantageous
Agile certification and/or experience is preferred
Percentage of required travel: up to 100%
Physical requirements:
- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
