Working Student (f/m/d) Software Engineering Vehicle Infotainment

As a working student (f/m/d) in Porsche Digital’s “Software Engineering” department in Ludwigsburg, you will work on various aspects of product development with a focus on innovative products for our customers. In addition to your hands-on contribution in the form of code, participation in stand-up meetings and sprint planning rounds (Scrum), you will also work on research-oriented technology topics. These selected deep-dives depend on the current need and on your individual technical background and interests.

Your tasks may include: 

• Collaborating with the Scrum Team on Android development for infotainment systems.
• Supporting testing processes through tooling and debugging to ensure seamless system integration.
• Assisting in setting up an infotainment lab and working with vehicle data in close connection to Porsche vehicles.
• Conducting vehicle simulations and participating in on-site car testing.

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent
• Fast and eager learner
• Open mindset and likes to work in an international, fast-paced environment
• Excellent language skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality with first software development experiences in practice
• Willingness to work hands-on with prototypes of Porsche in Ludwigsburg
• A passion and solid foundations in at least one of the following topics:
  • Mobile app development
  • Vehicle software
  • Android (Kotlin, Jetpack & Compose)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures is a plus
• Bonus Skills: Experience with CI/CD, Python, and AI tooling is advantageous.
