Position overview
Porsche Cars North America continues to expand its vehicle portfolio into fully Battery Electric Vehicles. These vehicles will address market opportunities and future federal and state regulatory requirements with regard to greenhouse gas and zero emission vehicle standards. Bringing these vehicles to market requires a specialized technical knowledge base and approach in the service and support organization.
The AfterSales High Voltage Battery Program Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the High Voltage Battery program as it relates to service and support activities for customers, Porsche Centers, and Porsche Cars North America. The AfterSales High Voltage Battery Program Manager will implement and maintain battery support processes, including but is not limited to high voltage battery repair, remanufacturing, second life, and recycling.

Roles & responsibilities
- High Voltage Battery Support Processes
- Secure and renew importation and air shipment approvals for Li-Ion batteries
- Define, implement, and maintain:
- Hazardous materials handling program for Porsche Centers
- Battery repair programs in the US
- Second life programs to reduce recycling of batteries
- Battery recycling programs within the US
- Support the High Voltage Technical Support Specialist in implementing processes
- Assist training and implementation of the Mobile High Voltage Repair Program
- Assist with logistics and process improvement regarding battery storage and handling
- Organize and facilitate reoccurring work group meetings across multiple PCNA departments
- Responsible for the proper usage of, awareness of, and compliance with Information Technology security policies at Porsche Cars North America
- Ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats

Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management or similar
- 5+ years of professional experience in Project Management experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in working with and supporting automotive dealers’ service operations
- Electric vehicle / plugin hybrid electric vehicle specific knowledge and/or experience
- Experience with high voltage battery technologies
- Experience in training programs for service personnel
- Residential, commercial, industrial, and / or vehicle electrical system knowledge
Percentage of required travel: under 10%
Schedule/Shift: Standard PCNA hours
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
The salary range for this role is $110,000-$130,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
