Position overview
The Analyst, Credit Risk Management will be responsible for gathering, maintaining, and analyzing information needed to identify, asses, and monitor risks inherent in the Porsche Financial Services (PFS) portfolio. The position supports the Department Head of Finance and Manager, Risk Management in the monitoring, maintenance/ enhancement of the IFRS9 Credit Loss and Residual Value Loss Impairment models. The Analyst, Credit Risk Management will assist in the implementation and monitoring of the PFS Credit Risk Lifecycle Strategy including oversight of the PFS credit-decisioning scorecard as a subject matter expert.
The Analyst, Credit Risk Management will also be involved in the preparation of presentations and reports for top management (CEO, CFO, Shareholders’ Committee, Board of Directors etc.) as well as assisting the Manager, Risk Management and Department Head with the implementation of both local and group projects.
Roles & responsibilities
- Assist Sr Analyst, Credit Risk Management in the preparation and validation of regular risk management reporting packages for senior management.
- Responsible for providing senior management with insights into the development of the risks inherent in the PFS portfolio.
- Assist Manager, Risk Management in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the PFS Credit Risk Lifecycle Strategy including future reporting and corresponding Committee preparations.
- Partner with Data Intelligence & Analytics team in monitoring of the credit-decisioning scorecard(s) and assist in scorecard validation (incl. back testing) as a subject matter expert on a regular basis to ensure scoring model adequacy.
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Reserve Reporting as well as tracking and analysis for reserve movements.
- Assist in the maintenance, execution, and validation of the PFS Credit and Residual Value Loss Forecast Models to ensure appropriate reserves are maintained to cover potential future losses.
- Work with internal and external auditors to prepare requested quarterly and year-end audit materials.
- Assist in the preparation PFS Shareholders Committee, Board Meetings, Closing Meetings, and other Executive meeting presentations.
- Assist with other projects as assigned by Manager, Risk Management and Head of Department.

Required qualifications:
Education:
- BS degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, Statistics
Experience:
- 2-5 years experience in accounting, finance, economics, or statistical modeling.
- Experience within a Captive Finance Company finance area a plus.
- Must possess advanced computer skills and a strong understanding of MS Excel including Pivot Tables and MS Query, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of two or more of the following: MS SQL Server, including SQL Language, VBA, R, or Python.

The salary range for this role is $78,000-$85,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
