Finance Intern

Position Objective:
Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) is looking for a dynamic Finance Intern to join our team this June for a 6-month term. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and will support multiple finance-related tasks, contribute to process improvements and approach special projects with an innovative mindset.

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with daily finance tasks including controlling, reporting, and month-end activities.
• Create templates that streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
• Be a key contact for finance inquiries from Porsche Centres and vendors.
• Support the analysis of strategic initiatives and innovation projects.
• Assist with internal controls testing and ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Actively identify and implement process improvement opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain updates and change logs for finance workflows.
• Process invoices, create purchase requisitions, and maintain workflow updates.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including documenting meeting minutes, as well as ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Experience
(Job and Industry):
• Experience in a corporate business environment.
• Experience utilizing digital technologies and process automation for data analysis.
• Prior relevant internship or work experience in an automotive subsidiary is considered an asset.

Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 Apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Experience with VBA and Office Scripts is highly valued.
• Experience with Power Automate and/or equivalent digital tools an asset.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of all work.
• Exemplary organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
