As a Responsible Partner at MHP Americas, you will serve as the strategic leader and senior voice of MHP for several of our most critical client relationships on the West Coast (Seattle, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, etc.). You will own end-to-end responsibility for account growth, delivery quality, client satisfaction, and profitability. The Responsible Partner represents MHP’s “One Team” promise to clients—ensuring unified service delivery and trusted relationships that drive measurable business outcomes.

 

This role is modeled on similar roles at tier-one consulting firms (e.g., SAP Global Account Director, Accenture CAL, Deloitte LCSP), with an emphasis on tight alignment between Sales, Delivery, and Service Units under a single accountable executive.

 

Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Act as the senior executive sponsor and primary point of contact for the client
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with client C-suite and senior stakeholders
  • Shape client strategies and translate them into MHP-led transformation programs

Team Orchestration

  • Serve as the integrator across Market Unit (Sales), Consulting Services, and Delivery teams
  • Ensure alignment of pursuit teams, solution architects, and delivery leadership
  • Promote a “One MHP” mindset to deliver coordinated, value-driven outcomes

Account Strategy and Growth

  • Define and execute multi-year account plans and opportunity roadmaps
  • Lead sales origination, solution shaping, pricing strategy, and proposal development
  • Drive account-level revenue and margin growth, meeting defined profitability targets

Delivery Oversight and Governance

  • Ensure successful execution and continuous improvement of in-flight programs
  • Sponsor delivery reviews and proactively manage risks and escalations
  • Champion quality, innovation, and client success across all service lines

Commercial and Operational Excellence

  • Own account-level P&L (revenue and gross margin accountability)
  • Govern all commercial activity across assigned accounts
  • Maintain CRM and ensure alignment with MHP's Opportunity Management Process (OMP)

QualificationsQualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience:

  • Must reside in a major Metro on the West Coast of the United States area with the ability to travel 60% (some key cities include but not limited to: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle)
  • 15–20 years of professional experience in consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise IT
  • At least 5 years in a senior account leadership role managing $5M+ portfolios
  • Strong delivery background in SAP S/4HANA or related enterprise platforms
  • Automotive and mobility industry experience required; other manufacturing sectors a plus
  • AMS/Outsourcing experience strongly preferred
  • Proven executive presence, client empathy, and problem-solving orientation

Percentage of required travel: up to 100% as required by client and business need; however, the anticipated amount of travel should be closer to 60%

Physical requirements:

  • This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.

The salary range for this role is $180,000– $225,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
