Position overview
The Sr. Analyst, Credit Risk Management will be responsible for gathering, maintaining, and analyzing information needed to identify, assess, and monitor credit-related risks inherent in the Porsche Financial Services (PFS) portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring that PFS maintains appropriate credit loss and residual value reserves under IFRS 9 standards. The Sr. Analyst, Risk Management will support in the continuous development of the PFS Credit Risk Lifecycle Strategy and assist in oversight of the PFS credit-decisioning scorecard.
The Sr. Analyst, Risk Management will also be involved in the preparation of presentations for top management (CEO, CFO, Shareholders’ Committee, Board of Directors etc.) as well as assisting the Manager, Risk Management and Department Head with the implementation of both local and group projects.
Roles & responsibilities
- Prepare and enhance regular credit risk reporting packages for senior leadership, including executive dashboards and trend analyses.
- Analyze portfolio risks and provide insights and recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead the creation and presentation of materials for the Credit Risk Lifecycle Committee and collaborate with business units to address credit risk challenges.
- Provide strategic input and analytical support to Credit Services and Customer Service/Collections teams on initiatives impacting originations and collections performance.
- Partner with Credit Services in developing PFS’ Origination Strategy related to auto approval business rules and fraud analysis/- prevention.
- Collaborate with the Data Intelligence & Advanced Analytics team to validate and optimize the credit-decisioning scorecards, including regular performance back-testing and model updates.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Reserve Reporting for Residual Value and Credit Risk Reserves, including trend monitoring and movement analysis.
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of IFRS 9-compliant credit loss and residual value impairment models to ensure accurate reserve adequacy.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors on quarterly and year-end audit activities and provide required documentation and analysis.
- Support the Capital Markets and Funding team in implementing the Company’s refinancing strategy
Contribute to the preparation of executive-level presentations for the Shareholders’ Committee, Board of Directors, and other senior stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned by management.

Required qualifications:
Education:
- BS degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) a plus.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in credit risk management, finance, accounting, statistical modeling, or related fields.
- Experience within a Captive Finance Company risk management area a plus.
- Proven experience with IFRS 9 credit loss modeling and risk reserve forecasting is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, Queries), Access, PowerPoint experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL, VBA, R or Python is a strong advantage.
- Experience with credit decisioning models, scorecard development, and validation preferred.

Schedule/Shift: Hybrid Model (1 day per week in the Atlanta office).
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
