Position Overview

This position has the overall responsibility for sales and volume planning, budgeting and reporting for all model lines and all markets. This includes the overall responsibility for sales operations to ensure professional ordering process by the importers in the region and coordination and timely and professional submission of PAG reports. In addition, the planning and deployment (incl. training) of new planning systems in all markets of the regions.

Porsche Latin America supports a network of 16 importers and 42 Porsche Centers throughout 21 markets in Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Our mission is to build and maintain positive relationships with our customers, importers and local partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

Volume Planning:

  • Management of the demand projection process between importers, PLA and PAG active follow up with importers on specific questions about demand projection figures
  • Develop and manage sales and quota reports and presentation to the sales team and PLA management
  • production quota allocation per importer
  • Act as the single point of contact for configuration questions by importers (order guides and Exclusive options)
  • Monitor the PAG marketplace for available quotas, manage requests and quota swaps between importers and/or models
  • Actively manage quota availabilities and changes with all importers in the region

Sales Operations:

  • Ensure that orders are entered properly, correct errors of configurations and availabilities
  • Lead the operational process of the PLA incentive program by developing incentive forms based on guidance from respective regional sales managers and document all supporting information for each paid out support
  • Manage request pro-forma invoices and additional documents required by importers to ensure a on time delivery and arrival of vehicles in the markets
  • Act as the single contact for all importer payment questions and issues (L/C amendments, extensions), underpayments, overpayments and money transfer issues to Porsche in Germany
  • Coordinate all shipping issues between PAG and importers in terms of tracking documents, changes in ships, costs, etc.
  • Maintain sales database with importer/dealers sales/order statistics (Delta Master). Coordinate the needs by the sales team for new and useful reports on Delta Master directly with the provider
  • Lead the training of new hires in the area of sales operations at the importer level by developing and implementing training programs and content familiarize the target group with the PAG order processes, online ordering systems (PIA), order guides, reporting templates, payments of cars to PAG, etc.
  • Responsible for actively supporting the attainment of vehicle wholesale/retail targets and all related sales objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Percentage of required travel: 10%

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$105,000 per year. However, it is important to note that at Porsche compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.

Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud.

QualificationsQualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • University degree, preferable in international business administration or related

Experience:

  • 4+ years working experience in multinational companies, luxury segment preferred.
  • Operations and international business culture experience (Latin America) highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English & Spanish languages required
  • Good presentation and data management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Creative and analytical thinking skills
  • Highly organized – strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivator who can work independently of supervision
