Position overview
Manage national warranty litigation. Serve as corporate representative in a variety of legal matters, including trials, mediations, arbitration hearings and depositions. Research, analyze, and evaluate evidence for lawsuits, manage warranty counsel throughout the United States, and negotiate settlements.
Roles & responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Manage large portfolio of warranty litigation, including working with outside counsel through the length of the case, aiding in reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, helping develop effective defense strategies, and negotiating with opposing counsel.
- Ability to aggregate cost data to create cost effective strategies for litigation management.
- Collaborate with Porsche dealerships to complete final repair attempts, obtain necessary information and documentation to evaluate and resolve breach of warranty matters
- Represent PCNA in litigation: in court, mediation, depositions and trials throughout the United States
QualificationsQualifications
Education:
- JD from an accredited law school, and admission to a Bar in at least one jurisdiction (ability to register as in-house counsel in GA a must)
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience required. 5+ years in warranty matters preferred.
Skills:
- Substantive legal knowledge and understanding of warranty and lemon laws
- Ability to handle case from start to finish, including managing strategy

The salary range for this role is $135,000-$145,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
