Global Social Media Specialist (f/m/d)

Join us to take our online presence to the next level, our team is looking for a Global Social Media Specialist who is responsible for our groupwide social media positioning and working closely with our international subsidiaries. During the onboarding phase, our multinational workplace offers you a unique opportunity to spend several months alternating between on-site presence in headquarters in Germany and Romania to get to know the work areas.

• You will develop and execute the global social media strategies for the Porsche Engineering Group
• You will continuously underline our positioning as leading tech player and employer by improving and extending our social media activities
• You will align the social media strategies with our global corporate strategy, brand, and marketing goals
• You will plan, create, and schedule engaging content tailored to our international tech target groups and social media platforms
• You will work in close cooperation with all international subsidiaries and technical departments and coordinate the global content across locations
• You will monitor and analyse social media performance
• You will stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure an innovative and engaging social media presence
• You will support with other marketing activities in close collaboration with the team
• You will collaborate with external service providers and agencies

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communication or any other related field
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in tech work environment
• You have very good knowledge and experience in social media
• You have high analytical skills; strategic and strong structuring abilities and you are quick thinker
• You have excellent creative writing skills; you pay attention to detail, and you are a strong communicator
• You are efficient, organized, passionate, pro-active, self-motivated, highly flexible, and have an independent working style
• You have a good technical understanding, a genuine passion for staying on top of industry trends and automotive affinity
• You are proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and relevant digital marketing tools
• You speak English fluently; German language is considered a plus
• You are flexible and are willing to travel abroad/domestic when it is required

Porsche Engineering Romania specializes in complex technical solutions at its two locations in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, including the development of intelligent and connected electric vehicles, electronics, and design.
We cover a wide range of development activities and technical know-how – from conventional powertrains to future mobility, and from prototype to series development. By optimizing brake systems and developing pedestrian protections as well as driver assistance systems, these activities significantly contribute to the improvement of future car safety. As an integral part of the Porsche Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Stuttgart (Germany) based sports car manufacturer Porsche AG, the work of our engineers in Cluj and Timisoara results into improvements and innovations incorporated in the Porsche sports cars, sold all over the world.
