We are seeking an experienced Event Manager with strong expertise in organizing driving experiences and automotive events. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and reporting of regional and central events, with a focus on creating premium customer experiences, test drive platforms, and marketing activations that support sales in the CEE region.

This role involves managing a small in-house team (2 specialists + 1 intern), overseeing external agency partners (event agencies, instructor agencies, suppliers), and ensuring flawless event delivery within budget and brand standards.

The Event Manager plays a strategic role in the development of driving experiences in the region, supports centrally organized events, and contributes to building customer communities around the brand.


Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution
• Develop innovative customer experience concepts and proactively manage the annual event calendar.
• Plan, implement, and follow-up on driving events, including but not limited to:
• PORSCHE On Track Balaton
• PORSCHE Experience Center Leipzig
• Development of new regional driving hubs

• Organize the PORSCHE Sprint Challenge Central & Eastern Europe (PSCCE) in coordination with PORSCHE AG and series promoters.
• Provide test drive opportunities for customers and prospects beyond traditional environments to drive sales and brand engagement.
• Support local importers in event planning and implementation.
• Coordinate regional central events (e.g., Investors Conferences, Dealer Meetings).
• Ensure premium participant experience in alignment with brand standards.

Marketing Vehicle Fleet Management
• Oversee planning and utilization of the event marketing fleet.
• Develop and coordinate regional road tours/road shows with CEE markets.
• Manage vehicle transport between events/markets.
• Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, service, and usage reporting.
• Plan and order event vehicles according to defined purposes and central standards.

Guest & Stakeholder Management
• Oversee guest booking processes via the participant management system.
• Coordinate participant services, travel arrangements, and hospitality in collaboration with the event agency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, suppliers, venues, instructors, and other stakeholders.

Branding, Marketing & Community Development
• Create and coordinate event marketing materials and content for websites/social media.
• Ensure consistent brand identity and premium atmosphere at all events.
• Develop strategies to grow awareness of driving experiences in new customer segments.
• Support the growth of PORSCHE communities (Clubs, Golf Circle, etc.), while developing event formats for new target groups (e.g. Driven Female, Driven Youth, Creative Leaders).


Budget & Reporting
• Manage and monitor event budgets ensuring cost efficiency (in coordination with central purchasing if necessary).and compliance.
• Oversee event-related invoicing, purchase orders, and compliance with procurement processes.
• Lead annual reporting on KPIs such as conversion rates, utilization, participation, and customer feedback.
• Provide actionable recommendations for event optimization.

QualificationsQualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in marketing/events in the automotive industry; proven track record in managing driving/track events.

• Skills:
• Strong project management and organizational expertise.
• Solid understanding of sales & marketing KPIs.
• Experience managing teams and external agencies.
• Strong budget management skills with financial accountability.
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to report insights and propose improvements.
• Languages: Fluency in English required; additional CEE languages are an advantage.
• Tech: Proficiency in MS Office, Event Management tools, and ideally DeltaMaster, Adobe Acrobat.
