Porsche Engineering Romania is looking for a highly skilled Team Leader for AUTOSAR to join our team in Romania, Timișoara location. In this role, your mission is to lead, mentor and elevate team’s technical competence, ensuring high-quality delivery in alignment with project goals and customer requirements by coordinating medium to large size teams in area of AUTOSAR.
You will work on Basic Software activities (AUTOSAR configuration, Complex Device Drivers development), Application Software integration with Basic Software on various platforms, host and target hardware integration and test pipelines.
- You will drive technical excellence by mentoring AUTOSAR teams and steering high-impact delivery aligned with strategic goals and customer expectations
- You will provide technical support in AUTOSAR (Classic), BSW configuration, and low-level SW development
- You will drive process improvements, automation in CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- You will organize technical reviews of code, configurations, and integration results
- You will be responsible for manpower estimation, work planning/ forecasting and effective utilization of manpower within the team
- You will support performance reviews, individual development plans, and training needs by defining and supporting competency development of team members
- You will organize and conduct technical one-on-one discussions with team members, manage conflict and facilitate team interaction
- You will nurture bussines opportunities in order to get new projects for the team
- You will work autonomously with the team and will be responsible for ensuring the information flow in all directions
QualificationsQualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or any other relevant Engineering related field
- You have over 5 years hands-on experience in automotive embedded software development
- You have good knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic Platform), BSW, MCAL, and embedded C programming;
- You are proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Jira, and debugging tools (Lauterbach, CANoe)
- You are familiar with AUTOSAR configuration tools (Vector DaVinci)
- You have previous experience in people and technical coordination
- You have excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- You demonstrate outstanding communication and collaboration skills, combined with a strong commitment and proactive approach to delivering high-quality engineering solutions
- You speak English fluently, and German language is considered a plus
- You are willing to travel
