SAP Roles & Authorizations - Manager (f/m/d)

As our Roles & Authorization Expert, you’ll take ownership of designing, governing, and continuously improving the authorization framework across our global SAP systems.

You’ll act as the key partner between IT security, audit, and business process owners – defining best practices, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance across multiple SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori, etc.), also guiding the team on a people management level.

• Define and manage the global SAP roles & authorization strategy
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of user access controls
• Lead role redesign and cleanup initiatives aligned with SoD and audit requirements
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and functional teams to ensure smooth operations
• Act as a trusted advisor on access governance and security audits

• 7+ years’ experience in SAP authorization and security management
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts (roles, profiles, SUIM, SU24, PFCG, etc.)
• Strong experience with S/4HANA, Fiori, and GRC Access Control
• Leadership mindset – capable of driving cross-functional initiatives and mentoring others
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Start: by arrangement -  always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited

• Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken German and English
• Flexibility & willingness to travel
