(Senior) DevOps Engineer (AWS, C++, Java) - remote or hybrid

Join MHP Mexico and help shape the digital transformation of leading automotive clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll analyze complex on-premise systems built in C++ and Java, modernize them for the AWS cloud, and guide clients through their cloud migration journey — from architecture and automation to deployment and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and refactor existing systems (C++ / Java) for cloud readiness.
• Design and implement AWS-based architectures (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
• Automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes using Shell scripting, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Work closely with clients to define migration strategies, best practices, and performance goals.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability throughout the transformation process.

Technical Expertise

• Strong professional experience with C++, Java, and Oracle SQL.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable working in client-facing roles.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• (Preferred) Experience with Python scripting for automation and tooling.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software development, maintenance, or modernization projects.
• Exposure to automotive or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding complex business requirements.
