SAP EWM - Senior Consultant (f/m/d)

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of advanced warehouse management solutions within SAP ERP landscapes. This role will primarily focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integrated with SAP ERP and S/4HANA, while collaborating across supply chain domains including MM, SD, PP, and TM.

The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise with strong business process knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in complex warehouse environments. 

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Lead full lifecycle implementations of SAP Extended Warehouse Management.
• Design and configure inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and cross-docking processes.
• Configure and optimize:
  • Warehouse structure (storage types, sections, bins)
  • Putaway and picking strategies
  • RF framework and mobile transactions
  • Slotting and rearrangement
  • Physical inventory processes
  •  Handling Unit (HU) management
• Implement integration between SAP Extended Warehouse Management and SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Support decentralized and embedded EWM deployment models.
• Analyze and Optimize the warehouse operations and recommend improvements.
• Support high-volume distribution, manufacturing supply warehouses, and 3PL scenarios.
• Lead workshops, blueprint sessions, and fit-gap analysis.
• Provide solution documentation including functional specifications and test scripts

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Ensure seamless processflow design with MM, SD, PP and TM (if applicable).
• Collaborate with technical teams on IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware integrations.
• Work with automation vendors for RF devices, robotics, ASRS, and conveyor systems. 

• 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years in EWM.
• Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle EWM implementations.
• Strong configuration expertise in core EWM processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements).
• Experience integrating EWM with SAP ERP or S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
• Strong client-facing and workshop facilitation skills
• Understands the need of modular, scalable, flexible architecture.
• Experience in keep the core clean concept.

• Start:  by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours:  full time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract : Unlimited

• Language skills:  business-fluent English at C1 level; German is a plus
• Flexibility & willingness to travel
• Other:  a valid work permit
