SAP Master Data - Consultant (f/m/d)

• Create, update, and maintain customer and vendor master records accurately and timely across multiple systems (e.g. SAP, CRM, MDG)
• Validate submitted master data against defined internal standards and external reference sources, including tax numbers, addresses, and bank details
• Ensure master data completeness, correctness, and consistency in line with agreed service levels and procedures
• Maintain proper approval flows and change documentation for all master data updates
• Perform regular data quality checks, audits, and cleansing activities to identify and resolve duplicates, outdated records, and inconsistencies
• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Sales, Finance) regarding customer and vendor master data requests, issues, and clarifications
• Collaborate with process owners and other shared services teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end process execution
• Propose and implement improvements to the master data processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
• Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities, including SAP MDG initiatives and data migration projects
• Maintain up‑to‑date operational documentation, including work instructions, operating procedures, and data maintenance guidelines

• Hands‑on experience in creating and maintaining customer and vendor master data in SAP (e.g. Business Partner, Vendor, Customer), with understanding of data dependencies and lifecycle
• Strong ability to validate master data against defined rules and external sources (tax numbers, bank details, addresses) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Experience supporting system upgrades, testing activities, and data migration initiatives, including validation and reconciliation tasks
• Experience performing data audits, identifying duplicates or inconsistencies, and executing data cleansing activities
• Experience working with master data across multiple systems (e.g. SAP, CRM, third‑party tools) and understanding data consistency across landscapes
