Manager - SAP Production Planning (SAP PP)

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Consultant with strong domain expertise in manufacturing and shop floor processes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of end-to-end production lifecycle management, hands-on SAP PP configuration experience, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with production, planning, supply chain, quality, and IT teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP PP solutions that support efficient shop floor execution. 

Functional Solution Design & Domain Expertise

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP PP modules.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP PP solutions.
• Design and configure: Master Data (BOM, Work Centers, Routing, Production Versions) MRP (MRP Types, Planning Strategies, Forecasting) Capacity Planning Production Orders & Process Orders Shop Floor Control Backflushing & Confirmations Rework & Subcontracting processes
• Optimize shop floor execution processes including: Order release & scheduling Production confirmations Variance analysis WIP tracking Yield & scrap management Integration & Cross-Functional Coordination 
• Ensure functional integration with: SAP MM (Inventory & Procurement integration) SAP QM (Quality Management integration) SAP SD (Make-to-Order/JIT scenarios) SAP PM (Maintenance planning) SAP FI/CO (Product costing, variance settlement)
• Seamless integration between planning and execution processes
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to define and improve production, shopfloor and planning processes.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects).
• Support data migration, integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide thought leadership on PP best practices.

To be well-prepared for your journey as a Manager in the area of SAP Production Planning (SAP PP), you bring along the following qualifications:

• 10+ years of SAP PP functional experience.
• Minimum 2-3 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects. Strong domain knowledge in manufacturing environments such as: Discrete Manufacturing Process Manufacturing Repetitive Manufacturing - Deep understanding of shop floor operations and production control processes.
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, QM, SD, eWM, TM and CO modules.
• Experience and understanding of PMR function with eWM. Strong knowledge of integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, CPI).
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Understands the need of modular, scalable, flexible architecture. Experience in keep the core clean concept. 
• Strong Profieciency in English
