Position overview
The Motorsports and Driving Programs Specialist supports the development and execution of Porsche Cars North America’s motorsports marketing and experiential initiatives, with a focus on motorsports, driving programs, fleet logistics and other experiential marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in delivering premium, high-impact experiences that strengthen Porsche’s brand affinity among target audiences. Responsibilities include supporting flagship programs such as Porsche Motorsport hospitality and Porsche Travel Experience, managing event activations, and overseeing the planning and deployment of brand marketing and motorsports vehicle fleets. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of event execution, experiential marketing insight, and operational excellence, with the ability to manage complex projects while upholding Porsche’s global brand standards.
Roles & responsibilities
Experiential Marketing Vehicle Fleet Management
- Oversee end-to-end management of a 55-vehicle Porsche experiential and Motorsport fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, availability, and brand-appropriate presentation across all programs and events
- Develop and manage annual fleet planning strategy aligned with experiential marketing objectives, product priorities, and launch timelines
- Coordinate vehicle allocation across multiple programs, events, and stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and business needs
- Manage fleet lifecycle including ordering, spec’ing, onboarding, rotation, and decommissioning of vehicles
- Partner closely with Product, PR, Communications, and Regional teams to align vehicle usage with messaging and strategic priorities
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to Porsche brand standards, including cleanliness, detailing, and presentation readiness at all times
- Coordinate routine maintenance, service schedules, recalls, and repairs in partnership with dealers, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Track vehicle mileage, condition, and usage to optimize lifecycle management and minimize operational risk
- Oversee third-party vendors supporting transportation, storage, detailing, and logistics operations
- Develop and manage fleet budget, including transportation, maintenance, storage, insurance, and operational expenses
- Maintain accurate fleet documentation including registration, insurance, titles, compliance, and vehicle records
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, risk management, and safety requirements
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, and Insurance teams to mitigate liability and ensure operational compliance
- Support vehicle preparation and coordination for key events, launches, and executive engagements
- Maintain fleet usage guidelines and policies for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on fleet utilization, performance metrics, and operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities to optimize fleet operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
- Coordinate vehicle branding, special builds, and event-specific modifications as needed
- Support cross-functional planning efforts for major experiential programs including Monterey Car Week, Golf Cup, Drive programs, and other national activations
- Provide on-site fleet management support at key events as required
- Manage contingency planning including backup vehicles, emergency logistics, and last-minute changes
- Ensure consistent premium customer experience across all fleet touchpoints
Motorsport Support
- Provide operational and planning support for Motorsport-related activities, including IMSA ticketing, credentialing, and ad hoc activations
- Serve as operational lead for Daytona and select Motorsport hospitality programs, overseeing guest experience, vehicle coordination, and cross-functional alignment
- Coordinate driver, VIP, and guest logistics including meet-and-greets, tours, and hot lap experiences
- Partner with internal teams, international markets, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of Motorsport initiatives
- Support planning and execution of special projects and high-visibility brand activations
Porsche Travel Experience Support
- Support end-to-end vehicle planning and logistics for Porsche Travel Experience (PTE) programs, ensuring alignment with route design and program objectives
- Act as operational liaison between PTE events, and external agencies to deliver multi-day customer experiences
- Provide on-site operational leadership, ensuring seamless execution and premium participant experience
- Support budget tracking, vendor coordination, and operational planning to drive efficiency and cost control
- Contribute to the delivery of owner experiences that drive customer loyalty and brand advocacy
Driving Programs Support
- Serve as key liaison for GT Circle track events in partnership with PMNA, including planning and execution across Carrera Cup events
- Support vehicle planning, configuration, and maintenance to meet program-specific driving requirements
- Coordinate vehicle logistics including transport, setup, and teardown across multiple program locations
- Provide on-site operational support, including vehicle staging, servicing, and real-time troubleshooting
- Partner with instructors and agencies to align vehicle availability with program flow and curriculum needs
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across fleet utilization, logistics, and program execution

Required Qualifications:
- An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
- Passion for automotive and experiential marketing
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and logistics from concept through execution, ensuring operational excellence at every stage
- Experience coordinating large-scale events, including end-to-end logistics, on-site vendor and agency management, and on-site execution
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale project budgets, forecasting, and external vendor relationships
- Experience supporting fleet or asset logistics a plus, including coordination of transportation, allocation, and readiness of vehicles or key program assets for events
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Public Relations, and Marketing Communications
- Experience navigating corporate processes such as contracting, purchase orders, and compliance requirements
- Automotive industry experience preferred but not required
- Experience in motorsports or event marketing preferred
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to travel up to 50%, as required
Education:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in experiential marketing and event planning, preferably within motorsports, performance driving, or track-based programs

Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The salary range for this role is $70 - $80k. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
