SAP MII Senior Consultant — Remote or hybrid (Mexico)

The SAP MII Senior Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) solutions within digital manufacturing environments. This role is essential in delivering scalable and high-performing solutions that support smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives across the value chain.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration between shop-floor systems and SAP landscapes. This role also contributes to project leadership, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting pre-sales activities and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design SAP MII solution architecture for manufacturing scenarios
• Develop SAP MII and SAP UI5 solutions following SAP best practices
• Implement and configure SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo)
• Analyze existing MII/UI5 solutions and propose optimizations
• Lead SAP MII projects across full lifecycle phases
• Support pre-sales activities (estimation, planning, content development)
• Guide team members and mentor junior consultants

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MII project lifecycle
• Strong experience in SAP MII and PCo implementations
• Hands-on experience with SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSLT, XPath
• Experience integrating SAP with PP, MM, PM, QM, ME
• Experience working with MES integrations (S95, S88, B2MML standards)
• Experience across design, development, testing, and support phases
• Experience with OEE KPIs and manufacturing performance tracking
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with OPC UA (tag and method-based)
• Exposure to IoT projects in manufacturing
• Knowledge of ABAP, RFCs, BAPIs
• SAP ME and PP configuration experience
• Bachelor’s degree
