Business Analyst (Extern) (f/m/d)

The candidate will conduct structured market analysis, identify new business opportunities, and generate qualified leads aligned with the company's capabilities.

A key success factor for this role is the ability to transform complex analyses into clear, high-quality PowerPoint presentations that support management decision-making and contribute to the definition of strategic business direction.

• You will conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, market gaps, and new business opportunities
• You will translate market insights into business opportunities and technical leads aligned with the company’s capabilities
• You will propose use cases, solution directions, and potential customers in collaboration with the Business Development team
• You will collaborate with technical teams to validate opportunity feasibility and strategic alignment
• You will prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations to support management reviews, strategy discussions, and opportunity evaluations
• You will present market insights, business opportunities, value propositions, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
• You will support the development of customer presentations and proposals, ensuring professional and consistent communication
• You will work closely with Business Development and Engineering teams to support strategic decision-making and business growth

• You have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or an equivalent education
• You have experience in Business Analysis, Market Research, or Business Development support
• You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market analysis, identify business opportunities, and develop business cases
• You have advanced PowerPoint skills and can create executive-level presentations that clearly communicate complex topics through effective storytelling and visualization
• You have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• You have experience preparing customer presentations, pitches, and proposals
• You speak English fluently; German language is considered a plus
• You have exposure to software and engineering domains

Porsche Engineering Romania specializes in complex technical solutions at its two locations in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, including the development of intelligent and connected electric vehicles, electronics, and design.
We cover a wide range of development activities and technical know-how – from conventional powertrains to future mobility, and from prototype to series development. To ensure continuity, our Master curriculum is updated yearly, and only the top 5 bachelor level students are eligible for Porsche Engineering scholarships. For those with a Ph.D., a scholarship for research and development in the AI field is also available.
