Position overview
This position supports PCNA’s compliance with the reporting requirements of the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) Act Early Warning Reporting (EWR) program. The Regulatory Affairs Manager serves as the primary liaison to the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF), ensuring that independent automotive service professionals have access to the information, training, and tools necessary to accurately diagnose and repair Porsche vehicles. Additionally, this role oversees the In-Use Vehicle Performance (IUVP) testing program, which evaluates customer vehicles to verify ongoing compliance with emissions regulations.
Roles & responsibilities
- Prepare, review, monitor and submit quarterly TREAD Early Warning Reporting (EWR) reports to the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (NHTSA).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the Porsche Technical Service Information website, ensuring ongoing functionality, issue resolution, and effective support for users.
- Manage the requests of Independent Repair Facilities and coordinate with Porsche AG to approve these requests.
- Coordination of IUVP testing:
- Procure vehicles from eligible customers.
- Work with the test labs to schedule testing.
- Input test results to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) site.
- Monitor the loaner fleet for proper model mix, coordinate any necessary repairs, retire loaner vehicles when due per company policy.
- Prepare any test waivers and submit them to EPA and CARB (California Air Resources Board),
- Hold meetings with Porsche AG and PCNA colleagues to cover customer complaints filed to the NHTSA.
- File any reports related to NHTSA Death and Injury inquiries or Standing General Orders.
- Along with the Regulatory Affairs Campaign Manager, manage a contractor that assists with Recalls and IUVP tasks
QualificationsQualifications
State the required minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with OEM in After Sales function
- Detailed knowledge of Dealer network operations & automotive distribution infrastructure.
- Detailed knowledge of Porsche online and tester systems such as PCSS, PIWIS, TSI and internal policies of PAG/PCNA.
Skills /Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and record keeping skills.
- Good understanding of data mining and data processing.
- Broad knowledge of automotive technology.
- Broad knowledge of vehicle repair/service function.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any Automotive Technology field.
- 5 years or above overall automotive experience.
Percentage of required travel: 0-10%
Schedule/Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
The salary range for this role is $87,000-$105,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
