The CRM Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for the technical execution, automation, and optimization of CRM marketing programs across Porsche Financial Services, Bentley Financial Services, and Lamborghini Financial Services.

 

Reporting to the Manager, CRM, this role partners closely with the CRM Marketing Manager to build, deploy, test, and optimize customer lifecycle campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related marketing technologies. The position serves as the technical expert for marketing automation, audience segmentation, journey configuration, campaign deployment, data management, and reporting while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with brand and regulatory standards.

 

This role combines marketing technology expertise with analytical thinking to deliver personalized customer communications that enhance engagement, loyalty, and customer experience.

 

Roles & responsibilities

 

  • Marketing Automation & CRM Operations
    • Build, configure, and maintain CRM campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, and Audience Builder.
    • Execute automated customer lifecycle journeys supporting acquisition, onboarding, engagement, loyalty, retention, lease-end, and win-back initiatives.
    • Configure automation workflows, decision splits, triggered communications, and personalized customer experiences.
    • Support the implementation of new CRM capabilities and marketing technologies.

 

  • Campaign Deployment
  • Partner with the CRM Marketing Manager to execute CRM campaigns across email, direct mail, SMS, surveys, push notifications, and other digital channels.
  • Build campaign assets, configure journeys, perform quality assurance, and deploy campaigns.
  • Validate campaign execution and monitor delivery performance.
  • Ensure campaign accuracy, functionality, and adherence to brand standards.

 

  • Audience & Data Management
  • Develop audience segmentation using customer behavior, lifecycle stage, business rules, and campaign objectives.
  • Create and maintain SQL queries, data extensions, automations, and data models.
  • Monitor data quality and collaborate with Analytics and IT to resolve data issues.
  • Support customer preference management and data governance initiatives.

 

  • CRM Technology:
  • Serve as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert for campaign execution and platform functionality.
  • Configure new features and enhancements within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Support integration with Salesforce Data Cloud and other enterprise marketing technologies.
  • Recommend improvements that increase automation, efficiency, personalization, and scalability.

 

  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
    • Lead campaign QA prior to deployment.
    • Develop testing scenarios for journeys, emails, dynamic content, and automation workflows.
    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new platform capabilities.
    • Troubleshoot campaign issues and coordinate resolution with Digital Transformation and platform vendors.

 

  • Analytics & Optimization:
  • Monitor campaign performance using engagement, conversion, deliverability, and operational KPIs.
  • Develop dashboards and recurring campaign performance reports.
  • Support A/B testing and optimization initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations that improve customer engagement and operational performance.

 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the Manager, CRM to implement CRM strategy and platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate daily with the CRM Marketing Manager on campaign planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Coordinate with OEM partners to support integrated CRM initiatives across Porsche, Bentley, and Lamborghini Financial Services.

 

 

  • Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve CRM operational efficiency.
  • Maintain CRM documentation, campaign standards, and best practices.
  • Support campaign intake, scheduling, and production workflows.
  • Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and emerging marketing technology trends.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred.

 

Experience (Job and Industry):

  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM operations, marketing automation, digital marketing, or marketing technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Content Builder.
  • Experience developing SQL queries, audience segmentation, and marketing automation workflows.
  • Experience supporting CRM lifecycle campaigns.
  • Experience within financial services, automotive, luxury, or another highly regulated industry preferred.

Percentage of required travel: 25%

 

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Hybrid work environment (minimum two days in office per week). Occasional travel up to 25%. Uses standard office technology and collaborates across multiple business functions.
