The Digital Finance Specialist serves as a bridge between Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to drive digital transformation initiatives, automate financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data-driven decision-making. This role combines strong financial acumen with technical expertise to develop, maintain, and optimize financial systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and process automation solutions.

 

The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, business intelligence tools, ERP systems, and emerging digital technologies. This individual will support strategic initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

 

Roles & responsibilities

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Develop financial reporting, analysis, and procedures for new programs.
  • Work closely with the senior management evaluating projects from a finance perspective.
  • Provide financial controlling for multiple business units.
  • Serve as main contact for digital integration across various systems.
  • Work with department managers and teams to provide financial support and analysis.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance of management rules and internal control policies.
  • Provides feedback to management regarding risks and opportunities associated with financial forecasts and business plans.
  • Review of accounting information to ensure timely and accurate reporting; including tracking of department accruals.
  • Assist in the review of future projects and business case proposals.
  • Provide analysis and support for internal and external auditors.
  • Act as a finance subject matter expert for ERP systems, reporting platforms, and digital applications.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree, CPA, CMA, MBA, or relevant certifications preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, FP&A, business intelligence, financial systems, or finance transformation.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing reporting and analytics solutions.

 

Skills:

  • Detail oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills.
  • Innovative, organized, and thorough with an eagerness to continue developing these skills.
  • Ability to interact with of all levels of the organization in a team environment.
  • Impeccable business judgment, ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to help influence senior leadership.
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • SAP FI/CO experience highly desirable.
  • Experience using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data.

 

Schedule/Shift: Hybrid role; 3 days in Atlanta office weekly 

 

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office environment.
