Tasks

  • Generating three dimensional harness designs as well as defining harness routing with CATIA V5 EHI considering the performance specifications
  • Designing and dimensioning fasteners and protective elements
  • Creating digital vehicle mock-ups, package models and drawings
  • Analyzing assembly space, package and tolerance design and the corresponding change provisions
  • Supporting and coordinating the development together with the development partners, suppliers and customers
  • Participating in meetings concerning packaging and production
  • Ensuring the DMU quality and the DMU maturity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent education
  • Several years of work experience in the field of Vehicle Electrical System Development
  • Very good working knowledge of the production of physical vehicle electrical systems and that of vehicle electrical equipment / -electronics
  • Very good working knowledge of CATIA V5 3D / EHI
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • English language is mandatory and German language is considered a plus
  • Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • Willingness to travel
