SAP ABAP Developer (MDG) - Senior Consultant (f/m/d)

• Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions and enhancements.
• Configure and extend MDG data models, entity types, attributes, and governance processes.
• Develop ABAP-based MDG enhancements, including BAdIs, workflows, validation, and derivation logic.
• Design and maintain BRF+ rules for governance and approval processes.
• Develop and support MDG integration scenarios using DRF, IDocs, Web Services, APIs, and SAP integration technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis for MDG processes, workflows, and data replication issues.
• Support data migration, data quality, and master data harmonization initiatives.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders during workshops, fit-gap analyses, and testing activities.
• Create technical documentation and ensure adherence to development and governance standards.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support project delivery, implementation, and hypercare activities for SAP MDG programs.

SAP & MDG Expertise

• 3+ years of SAP development experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
• Strong understanding of master data governance concepts and lifecycle management.
• Experience with at least one MDG domain:
  • Business Partner (Customer/Supplier)
  • Material Master
  • Finance
• Experience with MDG workflows, change requests, governance processes, and data replication.

Technical Skills:

• Strong SAP ABAP development skills, including:
  • Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Enhancements and BAdIs
  • CDS Views
  • SAP Gateway / OData Services
  • Debugging and Performance Analysis

Experience with:

• • BRF+
  • SAP Workflow
  • Data Replication Framework (DRF)
  • IDocs and integration technologies
  • SAP Fiori/UI technologies (considered an advantage)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

Integration & Data Management

• Understanding of system integrations and master data replication.
• Experience with data migration, mapping, and transformation activities.
• Ability to analyze master data quality issues and propose sustainable solutions.

• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
