Porsche Engineering Romania is currently looking for a self-motivated and flexible Software Project Manager to join the team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. As a Software Project Manager you will coordinate between business and technology teams and serve as the primary point of contact for multiple internal stakeholders, third-party vendors and partners.

You will work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes and you will collaborate with team members and clients to enable building complex applications and research all needed technologies that make Porsche able to deliver high-quality and innovative customer experiences.   • Adopting suited project management methodologies according to project needs is your goal
  • You manage the project in order to meet defined project budget, schedule and scope
  • You manage the project changes in requirements and priorities
  • Your area of responsibility also consists of defining KPIs, monitoring progress and adherence to scheduled completion of project documents.
  • You make sure that the customer requirements tracking system is effective
  • Defining and monitoring work package, releasing planning, defining tasks priorities, manpower and other resources planning, software and hardware, quality assurance checks
  • You define the milestones content and give the approval of content delivery
  • You organize internal project review meetings as well as customer meetings
  • You are the first point of contact as technical customer interface for customer projects
  • You work together with technical responsible and people managers
  • You communicate the project status to decision-making stakeholders within the Project Management Office, both locally and to the Project Leader from Germany

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent education
  • You have over 5 years of work experience in Software Engineering and over 3 years of experience in Software Project Management, preferably in automotive engineering services
  • Ideally, you have previous work experience with international teams
  • Your previous automotive specific project experience is considered a big advantage
  • You have good managerial skills
  • You have a high level of initiative
  • You have a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
  • You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
  • You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
